Well, it’s been a wonderful year, and Jake, and I are ready for our last practice tomorrow morning…

And then we play in our last fun tournament this year, the Windsor, Birthplace of Hockey.

We will play in this tournament:

  1. Cole Harbour 2
  2. East Hants
  3. Chebucto Ice Dragons
  4. West Hants

Good luck to the IceDawgs, and as always Play Fair!!

Trenton Tournament…

Well, it’s been an absolutely wonderful year of hockey with the Tasa Icedawgs.  The parents have been absolutely wonderful, and supportive, and the kids have been GREAT in their practices, and their games.

For our first year of Novice Hockey, I’m actually at a loss for words..  Last weekend, we had our Trenton Tournament, which we played 4 games.

  1. Amherst Ramblers
  2. Trenton White
  3. Dartmouth Whalers
  4. Eastern Shore

The kids played great, and had a ton of fun at the hotel..  Sometimes I think it’s more about the mini-stick, and hotel experience.  Smile

One of the greatest things of this tournament, was the 5 person shootout at the end of each game.  Every player got to shoot once during the tournament, and given I was picking the players, the Goalies got to shoot twice. Smile  Everybody really liked the fact that we had the goalies shoot!!

Out of the 4 goalies shots that I seen, there was no goals scored. Smile

Jake rides the Commons again!!

So, after dealing with a nasty head cold, I decided to pickup Jake, a little early…  Needed to stay outside, so, after a couple of quick haircuts.  Yep, don’t take much for a haircut for the Goobie Boys…

We hit the SKATEPARK baby again..

Armed with the Flip camera, I had the opportunity to take a few video’s of Jake immersing himself in the Skateboard/bmx/scooter scene once again.

A few drop-ins, death drops, transfer’s, wall-rides, he was getting his groove on.

Also, grabbed some video’s for my Show and Share Server in our Lab..  Just love the Corporate / Social Facebook for the Enterprise!

I’m back!

We are at another tournament this weekend, and really looking forward to playing in Trenton.  The IceDawgs are really excited, and should be a lot of fun.

Goobie OUT..
